5 Shots!

Today we took the first step to Zach's long journey of starting school. He had his kindergaren well check up today. He was all geared up to go in there and be as brave as he could be. He did great showing off his ABC skills and his eye test. He even got to wear a pirate eye patch, that was pretty cool. The nurses just kept saying how big he was for only being 4. I know, he's a big kid. The big kid act quickly vanished as soon as the first of five shots was administered. Well, he held out for the first two and then after that he let it all go. It was kind of sad, he was fine once he was given a Darth Vader and Yoda sticker and a lollypop. But look at those mean looking band-aides on those chubby little legs!

Hahahaha! Oh man! Poor little guy! Shots are the WORST. That's adorable that he cheered right up with his Star Wars treats! I'm sure if you tell that story to Diana, she's shower him with goodies! ;)

Can you believe you are going to have a child in elementary school! I remember the day I got my shots! (Those great memories seem to stay with ya) I have loved having Kayla in school. It will be interesting to see how I entertain my babes all summer. Maybe I should come live in Utah for a couple weeks! I will feel better this time!
