10:00 a.m. ... outfit number 4

I honestly don't know why I even bother getting Brooklyn dressed in the mornings. Yesterday she had already changed her shirt and pants 3 times before this lovely ensemble was put on. I get so tired of walking into her room only to find every dresser drawer wide open with crumpled up clothes spilling out of each of them.

This is her response to me!
To finish off the outfit, Zach's lovely, muddy, tennis shoes.

Really?...Again?

I know you might be wondering why I would want to subject my body to this not so pretty transformation yet another time.
This is about a week before I delivered with Brooklyn. And keep in mind, she was born two and a half weeks early. I know, it really isn't pretty.
But for those few of you who haven't heard, Yes, I am expecting our third child. I couldn't be happier. The baby will be due the beginning of May and all I can think of are baby names! (Iam a little obsessed.) So, wish me luck in not gaining more than I did with my other two pregnancies. Actually, wish me that I won't gain as much, because I gained a good 50 lbs with my first two. Yikes! Anyhoo, just wanted to let you all in on my not so secret secret!!

I a Kitty!

This is Brooklyn's handiwork. She came inside and said, "Look at me!" I a Kitty!
Sweet. She totally looks exactly like a kitty. And the best part is, i don't even care enough to wipe off her face before we take a quick little trip to the grocery store. That is how much I don't care at the moment! I rule.

Missing Me?

I know I haven't posted for a while and I apologize to whoever cares. This is about all the excitement we have had in our lives. Pretty Sweet.

Hooray for the Fair!!

The State Fair started this weekend so we decided to take the kids. It was a lot of fun, both for the kids and for the adults.

Cowboy Zach looking very excited to be on his tiny pony

She looks like she's nervous in this picture, but I promise she was LOVING every minute of her pony ride.

We went to about half of the rodeo and it was really fun. Zach thought the buckin' broncos were awesome

Waiting in line for a Gyro. Ohh yum.

This was just before we got on the tilt a whirl. It made me sick. I also rode on the Zipper with my friend Suz. That made me even more sick. Zach LOVED the Tilt a Whirl.

This is by far Brooklyn's most favorite ride. Doesn't she just look so happy?

Ty loves it too. HA HA

And of course, Zach had to sit on a tractor. He has loved tractors since he was teeny.

Wylo the Salamander part II

For those of you who read my previous post today, I have some new info on Wylo. After deciding that he wasn't going to live very long inside, I convinced Ty to put him back in the window well where we found him. We were hoping that he would find his home again. Ty told us all that he was going to dry out and die. Psha!! Look what Ty found in the window well tonight.

Wylo, stiff as a board
He looked like a little petrified alligator. Once again, Ewww.

Our new pet...for a day

Trying to find her prince charming

Last weekend it rained and rained at our house. On Sunday night, Tyson found a salamander in my parents window well. He went out and caught it and thought it would be a fun pet for Zach to have. Those were not my same thoughts. The next morning the kids were thrilled to see their new friend and they even named him after their great grandpa, whom they never got to meet. Wylo the Salamander. Brooklyn even thought it would be fun to give Wylo kisses. Ewww. After one day of the salamander being in the little cage in Zach's room, he let it go. I kept telling him it was going to die and he didn't want Wylo's blood on his hands, so to speak. Thank goodness he listens to me some of the time.

A few choice words from Zach

1st day of kindergarten. "la la la sh**. Oh sorry that's a bad word."

2nd day of kindergarten.
"i am so sick of school. I just like have to study all the time and stuff. I'm so busy."(this is said in his grown up man voice)

3rd day of kindergarten.
"mom can you put these on my ears to look like earrings? I saw some skater kids with cool spikey hair and cool skater clothes and they had earrings."

OH the joys of MY child starting school.
