Baby Nugget

This is my newest little nephew Luke. He is one of the most adorable newborns I have seen. My kids love him and can't wait until their little baby brother arrives. Last night Brooklyn decided that his name should be Nugget instead of Luke. I have no idea why, but that is what she calls him.
This of course causes lots of giggles between Zach and Brooklyn. He is a cute little nugget isn't he?
*I hope this is ok with Nick and Kellie, she is in no way, making fun of your precious child*

"mama, scratch my back"

This evening about 5:45 Brooklyn came in my room and wanted to lie on my bed and asked me to scratch her back. I love doing this because lately she isn't very cuddley with me, so it's nice to have her just lay by me. I had scratched for about 4 minutes, when i heard her snoring.
She was out cold. I hated that it was almost 6 p.m. but I knew she was so tired. I let her sleep for about an hour and then went to wake her up. Cute story huh?
Yeah, until I layed down next to her to gently wake her up and she began to pee on my pregnant belly and my bed. No more naps on my bed for her!!

17

I was helping Zach with his homework this morning and he was writing the number 17.

Zach: "I wish I was 17."

Me: "What would you do if you were 17?"

Zach" "Stay up late and drink Diet Coke."

Ahh the life of a 17 year old.

He lost it!

My 5 1/2 year old lost his tooth on Saturday! He was so excited and the tooth fairy left a whole dollar under his pillow. He has the teeniest little baby teeth, it will be quite the shock when his big awkward teeth start growing in! Yeah Zach

Cravings of a Pregnant Mommy

Lately I have been thinking about all of the different foods that I crave in my pregnancy and it makes me laugh. I have craved different things with each child.

When I was pregnant with Zach I LOVED LOVED LOVED Taco Bell. I seriously could not get enough of that place. Tyson, being the ever loving husband, would go get me Taco Bell at 10 p.m. if that was what I was needing. I remember just before I had Zach, Taco Bell had these Chicken Ceasar grilled stuffed burritos. I seriously consumed so many of those things. They just tasted so good!

I could not, on the other hand, stomach the smell of Roast Beef. I remember going over to Ty's parent's house for sunday dinner and just being so repelled by the smell of a Roast cooking. *(this is in no way, a reflection on Tyson's mother's cooking.)

When I was pregnant with Brooklyn my need for cheeseburgers could not be satisfied. I wanted one on average twice a day. Before that pregnancy, I never even liked McDonalds. However, I would catch myself driving through and grabbing one on many occasions. I didn't limit myself to just McDonalds. I also enjoyed a Wendy's Junior Bacon Cheeseburger. MMMMMM.

This pregnancy, I haven't really craved either Taco Bell or McDonalds. A few months ago I couldn't get enough Slurpees, but that has passed. I crave pickles all the time, which I know, is very common for pregnant women. Why is that? Other than that I plain just crave food. I know that some pregnant women don't use this as an excuse to eat whatever and whenever they want. I do. But guess what? I am almost 6 1/2 months along and I have only gained 8 pounds.

So who wants to buy me lunch????
