Cravings of a Pregnant Mommy
Lately I have been thinking about all of the different foods that I crave in my pregnancy and it makes me laugh. I have craved different things with each child.
When I was pregnant with Zach I LOVED LOVED LOVED Taco Bell. I seriously could not get enough of that place. Tyson, being the ever loving husband, would go get me Taco Bell at 10 p.m. if that was what I was needing. I remember just before I had Zach, Taco Bell had these Chicken Ceasar grilled stuffed burritos. I seriously consumed so many of those things. They just tasted so good!
I could not, on the other hand, stomach the smell of Roast Beef. I remember going over to Ty's parent's house for sunday dinner and just being so repelled by the smell of a Roast cooking. *(this is in no way, a reflection on Tyson's mother's cooking.)
When I was pregnant with Brooklyn my need for cheeseburgers could not be satisfied. I wanted one on average twice a day. Before that pregnancy, I never even liked McDonalds. However, I would catch myself driving through and grabbing one on many occasions. I didn't limit myself to just McDonalds. I also enjoyed a Wendy's Junior Bacon Cheeseburger. MMMMMM.
This pregnancy, I haven't really craved either Taco Bell or McDonalds. A few months ago I couldn't get enough Slurpees, but that has passed. I crave pickles all the time, which I know, is very common for pregnant women. Why is that? Other than that I plain just crave food. I know that some pregnant women don't use this as an excuse to eat whatever and whenever they want. I do. But guess what? I am almost 6 1/2 months along and I have only gained 8 pounds.
So who wants to buy me lunch????

Rainy Day Fun
Today was a dreary, rainy, Saturday and we didn't feel like staying inside the house for the day.
Everytime we drive up to Tyson's work we pass Hill Airforce Base and Zach always asks to go.
Today we decided to see if it was anything special. There are tons of huge planes inside and outside and lots of fun things for the kids to do. Zach brought along his camera, so most of these pics were his work.
Brooklyn being goofy, sitting in a real airplane fighter seat.

Bedtime Prayers...
Each night Zach kneels to say his prayers before bed. His very stubborn sister will NOT give her own prayers, so she just listens to Zach. He always remembers to pray for President Monson and President Barack Obama. Tonight as Zach was praying he asked to bless Barack Obama, Brooklyn, from the bottom bunk, chimes in, "and bless Blooklyn Bartlett Obama!" Followed by many giggles from all four of us. She is SUCH a goof. Maybe someday she will want to say her own prayers.

Baby bump..bump
I know that a most of you forget that I am pregnant since I stay so slim during this time. HA HA
But as I am sitting here typing, I can feel my little guy bumping around inside my belly and I absolutely LOVE it.
It's really the only thing I love about being pregnant.
It just makes me smile.

It was only a matter of time....
This year for Christmas, we did a gift exchange between the families of Tyson's siblings. We recieved a gift card to Cabella's from Tyson's brother, Ben and his wife Megan. Yesterday we decided to head down to Cabellas to see what we could find. And you guessed it, the kids were the ones that ended up with the loot. Zach got yet another gun....surprise surprise. But this one is totally different. I swear. It actually shoots little soft rubber bullets. We felt like it would only be fair to let Brooklyn pick something out too.
We looked and looked and this is what she was DEAD set on getting. Her very own pink pistol.
