Home Depot anyone?

it's nice when they play well together, for a change.

Her apron is a bit too big, maybe just a couple more years before she starts her job

We Finally Let em Go!

Can you guess what's inside Brooklyn's envelope?
All of Her Binkeys!

For the past few months I have only let her have her binkey at naptime or bedtime. But lately she will find one and hide out in her room and just take a few little sucks off one. It drives me crazy watching her running around the house with a binkey hanging out of her mouth like a cigar. What's worse is when I won't give in and then she whines and whines for one. So on Monday I asked her if she would like to get all of her binkeys and put them in an envelope and send them to a baby. What baby? Who knows! To my surprise, she joined right in and helped me put them all in her own envelope. We took them out to the mailbox and that was that. She has been really good about it, which in itself, is shocking! Her naps take about an hour and a half to get her to actually go to sleep, but other than that it has been pretty smooth. Last night she was sweetly asking for it at bedtime and I seriously wanted to give them back, only because she is not a baby anymore and it kind of makes me sad.

More wise words from my 4 year old

"I wish the sun was mine, and it was made out of M & M's."

Little Chuck

Zach, the belly Bartlett
Chuck, the iceman, Liddell

So I gave Zach a mohawk this weekend, thinking that it would last a day or two and then we would shave it. As soon as Tyson saw it, he told Zach he looked awesome and that he looked like Chuck Liddell. For those of you who aren't familiar with the high class world of Ultimate Fighting, he is like the UFC champ or something. Zach was so excited that he looked like a UFC fighter. I think the hawk might stay just a little bit longer. I don't mind so much, except that I think it just naturally brings out the naughty side in him. He just looks like a punk, therefore, he kind of acts like one. Once again, I brought this on myself.

Little Friends

Brookie, Zach, Keaton, and Kooper. They all had a great time partying it up in Rexburg.
I was trying so hard to get Brooklyn to cooperate and let me take a couple cute pics of her
She obviously was very happy to be photographed
Zach and Keaton pulling some sweet faces on the rocks.

Pee Pool

This is Zach in his pool. A few minutes before this picture was taken. He was happily playing in it with his little friend girl Sam. He then announced that he peed in the pool. She quickly got out and this is how Zach spent the rest of his time in the pool. Alone. Moral of the story, your friends don't like to sit in your pee.

I'm gonna cut a Bear

Tonight Brooklyn went around and gathered Zach's Batman utility belt, Zach's rubber pirate dagger, and Zach's heavy duty LED flashlight. She then proceded to tell me she wanted to cut a bear and asked me to put the belt and dagger on her. As soon as I was finished, she drew the knife and told me she was cutting my arm off. Nice. So I guess when I posted about them being in their elements, and her being all girly, it was not entirely the case. Then Zach came in and told her she looked cute. She said, "no cute, cool." Yep, cool. for sure.
