Will's "clubhouse"

This is what happens when you leave a 5 1/2 year old and a 3 year old in charge of your newborn while trying to take a quick shower.
I asked Zach to keep an eye on Will while I took a shower and when I got out they had put all their stuffed animals around him; their idea of a "clubhouse". Zach claims that Will loved his new clubhouse. I was just happy that he didn't get stepped on. Brooklyn likes to climb on the bed and be right over the top of him. He hasn't been stepped on yet, but it's been close.

Mississippee!

Since the new baby has come into our home, I feel like the two older children have been watching more than their fair share of television. I have been trying to get them to color and play games to stimulate their little brains. I recently bought Zach a puzzle of the United States and Brooklyn an ABC puzzle. This morning Brooklyn was picking up each state and asking me what it was called. She picked one up and I told her it was Mississippi. She burst out laughing and said Mississippi! Like a sippee cup! HA HA HA. Well I had never thought of it that way, but I thought it was very clever. Maybe I am just a little deprived of adult contact. Who knows.

Yeah, I know my last few posts have been of Will and Will only, but hey, that's pretty much what's going on in our lives right now.
He will pretty much sleep anywhere at this point. I know it wont last, so I am loving it while this lasts.

The kids wanted so badly for him to sleep in their beds with them.

They loved having him lay in their beds.

Needless to say, we are enjoying this little bundle of joy!

Sweet William has arrived

Say Hello to Baby Will! We are so excited that he is finally here.

I went into the hospital on Wednesday night to be induced and had him at 12:32 Thursday morning. He weighed 8 lbs 2 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. The delivery was very easy. I pushed through 1 full contraction and he was out. So it took about 30 seconds of pushing.

We couldn't believe all of his dark hair. He has been a sweet baby so far and Zach and Brooklyn love their new little brother.

Zach wants to hold him all the time. Even when he is screaming.

We are so happy to have him in our family!!
