Labor Day Weekend
We spent the weekend in Vernal staying with Eric and Heather and their kids. We had a great time. We went to Flaming Gorge for the light parade of boats and fireworks. We also did some hiking. It was a great weekend.

Saturday Hiking
We took the kids hiking up Ogden Canyon on Saturday. We had planned a really fun hike a little bit further away, but it was supposed to rain so we did a smaller one. It never rained.
Zach, Brooklyn, and their friend Jezne
Will is saying "cheese" for the camera
We saw a baby rattlesnake on the side of the trail. It coiled up inside a log and had its mouth open.
We talked to some guys on the trail who had seen a bigger one. Brooklyn was really scared. So she got to ride in the baby backpack.
Stopping for a little snack. The highlight for our kids, of course.

My big second grader!
Zach started second grade yesterday. He started at a new school too. He is going to Ogden Prep, so they are required to wear uniforms. I love it. He actually likes the uniform part too. His teacher is a guy and I think he is going to really like having him for his teacher.
So far(after one day), Zach is loving his new school. Zach's favorite part is that they get to go to Spanish class each day.
Good Job Zach!

Camping...
Friday afternoon we headed out for a quick camping trip for our ward campout. The kids had such a great time. They had lots of friends to play and go exploring with.
This is Will's cheeser face for the camera
There was a pie eating contest. Kids category was first
The aftermath of the kids competition. Zach ate like a champ and camp in second place.
Tyson also came in a close second.
Jennie was the champion pie eater in the womens division
We had such a great time on our short but very fun camping trip.

Summer Update
My husband informed me that my blog was way overdue for an update.
Brooklyn, who is 4, lost two teeth a few weeks ago. She lost both teeth in one night. They didn't get knocked out, they were loose. It was legit, I swear.
Zach turned 7 on July 10th. I can't belive my boy is so big! He had a rockin party with 8 friends, the awesome mother forgot the camera.
He also got Heelys, which he loves.
Will is 15 months and my sweet little terror. This child is so whiney, mischievious, and stubborn. However, he melts my heart. I decided today that he sometimes looks like an Ewok. (I thought Ewoks were cute)He is also an only child for a few days. Zach and Brooklyn got to go camping with Grandma Bee and Grandpa Bill. I think Will likes being an only child.

Brooklyn's Gravitation...
Brooklyn's little preschool had their graduation last Thursday night. It was very sweet and short. Perfect. She was so excited for it all week long. She kept calling it gravitation. Not a huge milestone, she still has another year of preschool. However, I am very proud of her and I love this little girl!

St George for a week!!
The kids and I headed down to St. George last Sunday evening to spend the week with Rindy and her kids. We had a blast. The weather was gorgeous and the kids had such a great time.
I posted a lot of pics, so just beware.
We took the kids to the park and had a picnic. Will is hiding behind the plant he is eating.
He loved the swing so much
We went swimming almost every day. They loved it.
Will LOVED the water.
Zach never wanted to stop swimming
Mia is 2, and she cracks everyone up.
Cute cute Addie is a little fish!
The kids all ready to go on an early morning walk
Total cheesey picture, but we thought it was so funny, we had twinner clothes.
Tyson and Jesse took Zach and Addie to the Pro Bull Riding on Saturday Night.
Cute Boys
We hiked the red rock and the kids had a blast.
Will was trying to wiggle out of my arms the entire time.
We celebrated Tyson's Birthday and Mother's day on Sunday with dinner and a birthday cake for Ty. We had such a great week, it was hard to want to come back to reality and the cold rainy weather.
